Suzanne Griffith, LCSW-R
It is my belief that all people have within themselves the capacity to heal and develop a healthy emotional response to life’s stresses and challenges. I use a strengths-based approach to helping you develop your own healing power. I work with individuals, couples, adults and adolescents using traditional talk therapy, various creative therapies, imagery and relaxation techniques.
Some of the things I can help you with include trauma, depression, anxiety, domestic/interpersonal violence and grief & loss, including loss of a pet. I can also help with LGBTQ concerns, eating problems, stress management & professional burnout.
I am licensed by New York State as a clinical social worker and I have been a counselor for over 12 years.
I worked with foster children and their families for 3 years before moving to Crime Victims Assistance Center, where I have been a counselor and clinical director for 9 years.
I would be honored to help you on your journey to healing.
